The Portsmouth Business Crime Reduction Partnership helps businesses deal with theft, antisocial behaviour, burglary and violent crime.

Reduced staff morale from threats, intimidation, violence, and the perception by potential customers of an unsafe area, can adversely impact on the viability of local and city shopping centres, affecting both the daytime and night-time economy.

The gas leak in Portsmouth is now under control, which means we're lifting the cordon. Only 9 houses at the Copnor Road end will have to remain evacuated and cordoned off, all other residents can return to their properties. Through traffic will not be affected by the remaining cordon. The train line will be open, but only for trains running on diesel, so some services will still be affected. Thanks everyone for your patience and co-operation!
